Recorders have larger holes which are difficult for smaller fingers & the fingering may be different, so please do not substitute a recorder. If you have more than one child you may want to get extras, one for each child.
We can confirm that our tin whistles do not contain any lead. Our products do have the Standard U.S. ASTM F963-07 certification
